MCP guide (use from AI)
MCP is a common protocol that lets an AI assistant call an app's data as tools. Register the Vizora MCP server and the assistant can pull Vizora's data to answer questions like "Compare Toyota's and Nissan's operating margins", with sources.
The URL to register
The URL is the same for every client. It is read-only, with no sign-up, API key or fee.
https://vizora.meequs.com/api/mcpConnect your AI
Menu names and plan availability change as each service updates. If a name differs, look for “MCP servers”, “connectors” or “custom connectors”.
Claude Code (one command)
claude mcp add --transport http vizora https://vizora.meequs.com/api/mcpClaude (claude.ai and desktop): in Settings → Connectors, add a custom connector and paste the URL above (available on paid plans).
ChatGPT: in Settings → Connectors, enable developer mode and create a connector with the URL above (not available on every plan). Vizora provides the search and fetch tools that ChatGPT connectors use.

}Example questions
- Explain Toyota's latest revenue structure, with sources
- Compare the operating margins of Honda, Nissan and Mazda
- Which companies have the largest segment revenue in the automobile industry?
- Which 10 listed companies have the highest operating margins?
- What does this company earn its money from? (add the company name)
Available tools
The assistant picks and calls these tools itself; you don't need to name them. All are read-only.
| Tool | Arguments | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| search | query | Search companies and industries by name, ticker or alias (the tool ChatGPT connectors use) |
| fetch | id | Fetch the full document for an id returned by search (the tool ChatGPT connectors use) |
| search_companies | query, country | Find companies by name (Japanese/English), alias or ticker |
| get_company | slug, locale | A company's profile, income statement, cash flow, segments and sources, as Markdown |
| list_industries | (なし) | All industries on the industry map, with group, company count and revenue |
| get_industry | slug, locale | Companies in an industry ranked by segment revenue, with margins, growth and ownership |
| compare_companies | slugs, locale | Compare 2–5 companies side by side (revenue, cost ratio, margins and more) |
| get_ranking | metric, locale | Top 100 listed companies by a metric (revenue, operating income, net income, margins, growth, salary…) |
Reading the data
- Figures are extracted mechanically from annual securities reports (EDINET). The AI never generates the numbers
- Sources (EDINET document IDs), fiscal period, consolidated/non-consolidated and accounting standard are stated in the headings
- Amounts are in millions of yen in Markdown and in yen in JSON; the server asks the assistant to state units
- AI-written commentary is labeled as such and is not a basis for the figures
- New results and corrections are imported every morning at 06:00 JST
- This is not investment advice. Verify figures against the source filings
Limits and notes
- Covers Japanese listed companies. US companies are in preparation
- Read-only; there is no tool that changes data
- Free and unauthenticated for now. Limited to 60 requests per minute per IP address (over that you get a 429 with Retry-After; wait that many seconds and try again). API keys may be added if usage grows
- Share prices, P/E and other values not in annual reports are not provided
