Revenue fell mainly because the automotive business was deconsolidated in the prior year.

In Energy, storage systems for data centers grew, but automotive batteries were hit by US tariffs and higher fixed costs at the new North American plant.
Smart Life, the appliance unit, posted a loss as demand in China and overseas TV sales dropped and restructuring costs were booked.

Additional US tariffs and other trade measures could raise trade barriers further.
Slower EV adoption, for example from cuts to EV subsidies, could hurt the automotive battery business.
